Winstrol for Women: Uses, Benefits, and Side Effects.
Winstrol is one of the few anabolic steroids that women can take, even if using it comes with a warning. Men, have a long list of anabolic steroids that they can use to help them add muscle or drop fat, but not so with women.
The problem is that anabolic steroids are a male sex hormone and in a woman's body, they begin to cause changes that decrease the feminine characteristic in a negative way. There is a term for this and it is virializing. In this article, I will discuss the benefits and some of the possible side effects from using Winstrol for women.
Winstrol for Women
Of the long list of anabolic steroids out there, Winstrol (Stanozolol) is perhaps the kindest to women. What that means is that while men often use Winstrol during their cutting routine, women can use it for both cutting and bulking.
One of the reasons that men rarely use Winstrol for bulking is that they have access to more potent anabolic steroids. For women, those steroids would amplify the virilization process and cause a more rapid onset of virilization.
Winstrol Side Effects
The side effects of Winstrol for women are somewhat mild compared to other anabolic steroids. Physical changes include the development of acne or if acne is already an issue, Winstrol may cause an exacerbation of the condition. In some women, the color or tone of the skin darkens and can become blotchy. Other physical changes can include:
Deepening of the voice timber – Much like a young man going through puberty, a woman's higher timber can change into one that is deeper, gruff, and even squeaky.
The onset of edema, especially in the ankles – edema is the pooling of fluid in the tissue and is most often found in the ankles thanks to gravity. Edema is a serious condition and should be investigated by a doctor as it Is a sign and symptom of serious illnesses such as congestive heart failure, kidney damage, and damage to the cardiac system.
Nausea, Vomiting, and Diarrhea are all reported as common side effects of stanozolol which is the standard name of Winstrol.
Hair Growth – Especially on the face, breasts and even the back and on the opposite end of the spectrum is hair loss as in male pattern baldness in women. This is a symptom that usually occurs after prolonged use or at higher dosages.
Other side effects from using Winstrol may include:
- Shrinking breasts
- Enlarged clitoris (clitoromegaly)
- Irregular periods
Benefits of Winstrol for Women
Dual Purpose: So, the first, and probably the most important benefit that Winstrol offers women is that they can use it for both their cutting and their bulking cycle.
Dihydrotestosterone is an androgen hormone that is responsible for giving men that manly appearance. Why Winstrol works is this: In the body, on average – both men and women – about ten percent of the amount of free testosterone -natural and synthesized – converts to DHT.
We say “about” because every person is different, and their bodies react differently to certain hormones. It is that ratio that helps women to trick their bodies into adding muscle or shedding fat.
What DHT does in women is it primes their body to produce muscle or to burn fat. This is why Winstrol is considered a perfect steroid for women who want to bulk up or cut fat – Its smaller doses of testosterone (synthesized) is just enough to kick the female body into a bulking or cutting mode.
So, the smaller dose means that a smaller percentage of testosterone -natural or synthesized – converts to DHT. More importantly, it lets women toggle between a higher Winstrol dose for bulking and a lower Winstrol does for cutting.
If you are a woman and want to bulk up, then you will likely need a higher dose of Winstrol. At higher doses, your body has more energy, this causes your body to use energy on a cellular level more efficiently, recovers faster, and synthesizes proteins more efficiently. That process allows you to workout longer, harder, and with more strength.
Anabolic Winstrol is not a magic pill
If you are trying to drop fat, then the lower dose of Winstrol is likely what you need, but this is not a magic bullet. You will need to combine Winstrol with a low-fat diet that includes plenty of exercise if you want your body to use stored fat as an energy source. The same is true for bulking. You will need to put in the work to make the muscles.
As with all steroids, natural or those that are synthesized, use caution. Most are illegal to possess and use without a doctor's permission. So, naturally, they are readily available. Steroids can cause permanent and life-threatening changes to the body.
In spite of Winstrols positive benefits, most women will want to avoid using it, that is unless you are someone who is considering competing in a bodybuilding or fitness event on a professional level. Most women may want to consider a safer alternative, in this case, a legal Winstrol for women may be a better option for most women due to the fact that it can offer similar benefits without the side effects.
While Winstrol for women is considered a mild steroid it can have complicated side effects on women. Before taking any anabolic steroid no matter how mild it may seem you should consult a doctor or a certified personal trainer who has had experience with Winstrol that way he gives you a personal assessment if Winstrol is right for you. Otherwise, a safe Winstrol for women alternative might be a better option.
